The Cooking Class offers children an opportunity to learn about food and eating through various food items.


– utilize the vegetables grown in the Nursery Garden
– cook with vegetables in season
– learn and observe the foods through cooking:
  = how foods change their shapes and colours
  = how foods change their textures, smell and taste
– learn about foods cooking that are unique to Japan and the Japanese culture
– learn about and appreciate different types of food, not limited to Japanese food and cooking
– enjoy cooking and eating
